Reminds me here that we have already ‘seen’ our summer. Photosynthesis
is drawing to an end in the larger deciduous organisms. Some trees are paled
out already, others just beginning and some have a few yellow leaves showing.
The onset of the rut with the animals is in full swing and
the song birds are noticeably and less frequently heard.
